A primary school in Maharashtra has created an Animal Rights Corner after the administration was delighted by the reaction of students who participated in a recent Compassionate Citizen presentation.

Students learn that animals are sentient beings.
The corner features a board describing Animal Rahat’s work, and the surrounding wall is covered with artwork and images created by the students. The board also includes literature about how to help animals and the numbers to call Animal Rahat when an animal needs help. Its humane education officer is encouraging other schools to do the same so that more children will have a special place to share their kindness for animals while inspiring other students and teachers.
