Nine sweet ponies and one beautiful horse are enjoying freedom from horrific lives of hard labor after PETA India and Animal Rahat persuaded their owners to mechanize. These new retirees are awaiting clean bills of health at the peaceful Ranapur and Sangli sanctuaries before they join their fellow rescued friends at the newest sanctuary in Gundlupet.
