This baby hare was found by a villager who, after searching in vain for the mother hare, took him to Animal Rahat’s home for retired bullocks. The leveret (did you know that’s what baby hares are called?) was too young and frail to fend for himself and would certainly have fallen prey to another animal. After two weeks of care and plenty of corn and grass, he grew quickly and was quite hardy when released in the same place where he had been found.
