Animal Rahat’s educational outreach coordinator regularly travels to schools to give classroom presentations using the humane-education program Compassionate Citizen. We see that many of the children stop looking at “beasts of burden” the same way after that. Last month, we took this initiative to a new level by presenting the program at a teachers’ college.

By getting young teachers familiar with and excited about the program, we will reach exponentially more students with important lessons in empathy and respect for animals.
