Last month, Animal Rahat veterinary teams administered vital care to 2,146 animals, relieving swollen limbs, aching joints, yoke gall, and lameness. They seized 233 torture devices such as spiked bits and nose ropes. They also sterilized 100 dogs and cats and vaccinated 294 animals against rabies and tetanus. Rescuers rushed to the aid of 33 animals—some of whom are featured here—who were in life-threatening danger.
