For years, Geeta carried bricks under the blazing sun, her days measured in loads, never in rest. Today, she carries nothing but the warmth of this Diwali, safe at Animal Rahat’s sanctuary. When her former guardian chose a tractor over donkeys, he gave her the greatest gift: a life she never had. 🪔 This festival of lights, we light a diya for Geeta and every sanctuary resident who walked out of darkness and into a life filled with peace, care, and hope. Shubh Deepavali from Animal Rahat!
