Sanctuary staff strive to make every day special for residents through food puzzles, Indian classical music sessions, grooming sessions, and more. But celebrating five years at the Ranapur sanctuary called for a feast, with fruits, veggies, and edible-flower garlands. The Ranapur sanctuary is a haven where residents who’ve endured unspeakable hardships finally experience the safety, respect, and freedom they’ve never known. Here, animals are given space to heal physically and emotionally and can finally choose for themselves – no nose ropes, no goads, no commands – to do as they please.  This milestone anniversary celebrates the transformed lives of the animals who now call it home.
