This month, Animal Rahat’s dedicated team delivered a wave of relief and education: 2,545 animals received free veterinary care for everything from wounds and lameness to skin and digestive disorders; 820 animal owners learned about humane handling and preventive care; and 289 students and 14 teachers took part in eye-opening Compassionate Citizen workshops—with 59 budding writers entering Animal Rahat’s essay contest with prompts including “Birds don’t belong in cages” and “Elephants belong in jungles, not chains.” On top of that, the team performed 99 spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinated 627 animals against deadly diseases like rabies and tetanus. From classrooms to clinics to communities, every number tells a story of lives changed—and animals who now have hope for a kinder tomorrow.
